Wait for Right Engine RPM to stabilize around 60-65 % RPM.

Reset MASTER CAUTION

Press Master Caution

Power Left and Right DDIs

DDI knobs to DAY [right click]

Turn on AMPCD

Brightness knob to the right

Power Heads-Up Display

Turn HUD brightness control lever right

When « XP » is displayed, the IFF has been powered up correctly. Verify that Mode 4A is selected (« : » means selected). If 4A is not selected, press OSB (Option Select Button) next to « 4A ».

Link-16 Datalink

Power Up Link-16 Datalink system by pressing the D/L Button a first time to display the Link-4 datalink options, then press the D/L Button a second time to display the Link-16 datalink options. Then, hold the ON button on the UFC for a few seconds. When « ON » is displayed, the Link-16 Datalink system has been powered up correctly.

On UFC, set Link 16 desired Datalink Frequency by entering it on the scratchpad, then pressing « ENT ». 127 is used by default, you can keep it.

Verify on MIDS SUPT page that Datalink information is correct (Network, AIC, F/F, Voice frequencies).
